    Biography

    George Pedraza is a maritime personal injury and wrongful death attorney. He has been handling personal injury and Maritime Admiralty cases for more than 20 years. After graduating from the University of Miami he worked for a large insurance defense firm for several years. Then he decided to represent only the victims of personal injury accidents. Since leaving the defense side, Mr. Pedraza represented individuals and families who have been the victims of crimes and accidents many of those onboard all types of boats, cruise ships, and commercial ships. For the past years Mr. Pedraza has been “of counsel” to leading personal injury and maritime firms.

    Mr. Pedraza has handled cases involving personal injuries, wrongful deaths, sexual assaults, rapes, and catastrophic injuries, involving both passengers and crewmembers. His cases have included all types of injuries including heart attacks and strokes, kidney failure, brain damage, herniated discs, RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy), factures, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator-cuff tears, broken hips and knee replacements, and psychological and psychiatric injuries. He is consulted by other attorneys in their handling of cases on appeal involving complex issues of Admiralty and Maritime Law. He is well respected by his peers, and other Admiralty and Maritime attorneys ask for his advice in the handling of maritime issues.
